From Walker to Wheelchair to Walking Again
Last year around this time, I was still using my walker and fighting to stay mobile. Not long after, I found myself full-time in a wheelchair and facing a terminal diagnosis that completely changed the course of my life.
And yet, this past October, I officially came off terminal status — something that still feels surreal to say out loud.
There are still difficult days. There are still unknowns. But there is also deep gratitude for the moments I’m still here to experience, the dreams I’m still rebuilding, and the purpose I still feel called toward.
Over the past few years, life has stretched across advocacy work, rebuilding businesses, documentary storytelling, resilience work, family, grief, healing, and learning how to begin again more than once.
This website will continue becoming a living space for all of those layers — not just the polished moments, but the rebuilding too.
Thank you for continuing to walk this journey with me.
